NetNX is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy details how the app handles your information, prioritizing **local processing** and **zero data collection**.

NetNX does **NOT** collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Data Collection & Tracking
NetNX operates with a strict no-data-collection policy. The app is designed to respect your privacy:
- Does **NOT** collect analytics
- Does **NOT** track user behavior
- Does **NOT** contain advertisements
- Does **NOT** use third-party tracking services
- Does **NOT** require user accounts or registration
- Does **NOT** store any network test results on external servers
- Stores API keys (for AbuseIPDB and VirusTotal) **locally** on your device only
Data Usage & Processing
All network diagnostic tests (ping, traceroute, speed tests, DNS lookups, etc.) are performed directly from your device. Results are:
- Processed **locally** on your device
- Never sent to external servers (except when querying public network services necessary for the tools to function, e.g., DNS servers, BGP route servers, ARIN databases)
- Only stored temporarily in the app's memory
- Cleared when you close the app
Network Requests & Third-Party Services
NetNX makes network requests **only** when you explicitly use a tool that requires it. It does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks.
When you use the tools, you may connect to the following external public services:
- **DNS lookups** query DNS servers you specify or your device's default DNS
- **BGP queries** contact public route servers
- **ARIN lookups** query the public ARIN database
- **MAC lookups** query public OUI databases
- **iPerf and Speed tests** connect to specific test servers
- **IP Reputation checks** query AbuseIPDB and VirusTotal APIs (requires user-provided API keys)
- **Tor detection** queries Tor Project's public APIs
These requests contain only the information necessary to perform the requested network diagnostic function.
Local Network Access
NetNX requires local network access permission to function as a diagnostic tool. This access is used **exclusively for network diagnostic purposes** and no data is collected or transmitted outside your local network unless you explicitly request a test to an external host.
Required access is needed to:
- Perform ping and traceroute operations
- Scan local networks with Nmap
- Run iPerf bandwidth tests
- Discover devices on your network
Data Sharing
NetNX includes a **"Share" feature** that allows you to export test results. This feature:
- Only shares data when you explicitly tap the **Share button**
- Uses your device's native sharing system (iOS)
- Lets you choose how and where to share (Messages, Email, Files, etc.)
- Does **not** automatically share or upload anything
Children's Privacy
NetNX does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including **children under 13**, in line with its no-data-collection policy.
